This is the outfit that I selected to wear to my doctor’s visit on Wednesday. That first expression is me smiling through the anxious realization that I’m having a few stitches put into my body. Also, I needed some cute, comfy walk-appropriate shoes that would withstand a potential passing out, what with my nervousness at the whole mole removal procedure. And get me from downtown to the North Side. True story: I put my New Balance insoles into these and it’s like wearing slippers.

Have I mentioned how much I love t-shirt dresses? For summer days, I can’t think of wearing anything else but cotton. I like this one in particular because of its three-quarter length sleeve – which can be folded up or down depending on the breeze. Also, blue is one of my favorite colors to wear. Although I have to be careful at certain intersections (you know, the eventual poof of wind that takes up my skirt at one of the busiest crosswalks in the city). And this, ladies, is why I wear boy-leg undies everywhere I go.

I picked up this necklace from a boutique in Akron (Revival) during my last visit, and I wish I would have asked for the designer/artist’s name, as I wear it SO MUCH.

Dress: Old Navy
Necklace: from Revival (Akron, OH)
