Behold the bounty from Ulta!

I love getting gift cards for my birthday (this is the second year my dad and his girlfriend have done this for me xo). Check out all the (beautiful) crap I was able to get for $60: a mix of old and new products — and some items that have been MIA in my beauty cabinet for FAR too long.

Travel Samples (quite nice sized for samples too) of NeoCeuticals – hoping for some acne and oil control with these
Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads – simply, I miss having these in my bathroom!
Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar – I’m a little OCD with my anti-bacterial, so I’m happy there’s something for my sensitive skin
Ulta Hairspray – I like that this has a natural hold and is extra awesome during Pittsburgh’s tendency to go super humid
Ulta Cheek Color and Eye Shadow – purely gratuitous buys for spring (eye: Key West; cheeks: Afternoon Delight RAWR!)
Ulta Professional Foundation Brush – ‘nuff said; you should replace your brushes more regularly, Mel. And the quality seems just as good as my MAC brushes (and much less expensive)
Cover Girl Professional Mascara and Perfect Point Plus – I’ve used these for as long as I can remember. The Remarkable mascara is awesome as it’s washable waterproof (I use black-brown for day & very black for night), and the eyeliner does NOT wear off. I don’t have it in me to “upgrade”, when these work as well as they do.

And fun, spring nail polish! I love the formula from Sally Hansen Xtreme wear, so I stuck with that line: White On, Sun Kissed and Mint Sorbet. All Lacquered Up will be happy to see I finally purchased a Base Coat (Revlon). This, some two years after getting a beauty lecture about my nail polishing ways. *wink*

There was also a special “May I Try?” Beauty Bag gift with purchase from Ulta, and it contains a variety of sample-sized products and perfumes (yea!) in a see-through cosmetic pouch (when traveling, you can never have too many of these). I was super excited to see an Exuviance Masque bottle in the set. Even though I’m on my organic Eminence kick right now, I love peel-off face masks — and this one is perfect.
