Coffee is my love language. And my signature strength is hot chocolate with big marshmallows. I’m a horrible cook, and lover of cheese for dinner. I’ll put mustard on anything. I mourn the loss of craft beer due to a gluten-free lifestyle, and now regularly seek out ciders and champagne. The eyes on potatoes creep me out. Why is my About Page all about food?!

I’m a runner — both the roads and trails — recently finishing my fourth full marathon and my first ULTRA (all caps). I have no shame in admitting that I watch The Bachelor/ette on the regular. I’m a retired roller derby athlete (who still loves trail skating). I love camping and kayaking, and I am hopelessly devoted to the outdoors (even if I’m super allergic to everything out there). I’m an Iowa transplant. I love road trips. I hate being barefoot. I’m terrified of ladders. I also read regularly — finishing 52 Books in 52 Weeks in 2015. I’m currently in grad school working towards my master’s degree in sport psychology. I don’t know what I want to do with the rest of my life (but I’m starting to figure that out).
